Nice 2nd tourist destination after Paris

Nice, it is first and foremost, the south. If you like the sun, the azure blue (not a cloud on the horizon), if you like cicadas and Provence, if you like "good food", if you love the sea then come to Nice!

Let the sweetness of the nature around the city surround you and immerse yourself into history by visiting the Roman ruins of the famous "Arènes Cimiez. You'll be pleasantly surprised by the "Promenade des Anglais", which offers more than seven miles of sea front walking areas. And if you have the means, you can book a room at "Negresco" one of the largest palaces of the Cote d’Azur (French Riviera). If you find it getting hot, nothing can prevent you going to the beach and renting a chair and a parasol on one of the parcels of private beach sipping a mint water ... You will have the privilege of swimming in one of the cleanest waters of the Mediterranean (according to recent analysis)

For fans of museums, Nice is your city! You'll find a wide variety of museums (Matisse Museum, Chagall ...)

If you like diving, hiking, you can simply go to Agay, you'll find creeks and coves exceptional (unique) in the red rock of the Esterel. A paradise!

However, if you prefer the freshness of the mountain, Nice and its seven hills, are very well placed (at the foot of the Alps) with about 1 H00  to go to Valberg (mountain biking, hiking climbing, water sports sensations guarantees ... !)
Nice is also famous for its cooking quality! You'll find excellent restaurants on the pedestrian zone and the old city, where you can taste the famous specialties niçoise. (Socca, etc ....)

For a drink in the evening, nothing beats the old city with all its Irish pubs and atmosphere.
Finally, if you want to go to a disco, you should take the Promenade des Anglais and go to the Annex, near Nice (St Laurent du Var) and the Karement in Monaco.
